This month, weâre shifting our focus to self-love, self-acceptance, and being kinder to ourselvesâbecause the way we see and treat ourselves affects every aspect of our lives, from our confidence and relationships to our overall happiness and well-being.
We often chase an âidealâ version of ourselves, thinking weâll be happy when we reach a certain weight, size, or look. But if youâre like me, weâre always finding something new to âfixâ. What if, instead of constantly picking ourselves apart, we learned to appreciate our bodies for what they doânot just how they look?Â
I know this is easier said than doneâand even a bit clichĂ©. While I still absolutely struggle with self-confidence at times, Iâve come a long way in accepting my âflawsâânot just in how I look, but also in how my brain works (or doesnât work đ) and so many other things in between. And let me tell you, there is incredible freedom found in that acceptance.
If youâre someone whoâs always hard on yourself or feels like you never quite âmeasure up,â I encourage you to take time this month for self-reflection, then take small steps toward overcoming some of those insecurities.
Just like building strength and endurance in our body, this is a gradual process. It takes intention, time, consistency and resilience. But it is so worth it.
Throughout the month, Iâll be sharing words of encouragement and simple action steps to help you move toward loving and accepting yourself as you are, right now. Because YOU are worth it.đ
